"Vrelo" was formed by Nataša Tomić in the beginning of 1999. in Ruma.

Initially it was a female vocals group that performed traditional Serbian music. In 2003 they are changing their musical concept. A vocal- instrumental ethno ensemble transforms into the band.

Simplicity and minimalism of their expression with two, maximum three instruments on one side, and seven vocals flowing into one impenetrable barrier sonic on the other side, made Vrelo becoming the part of the world music, keeping identity and authenticity of our music intact.

In the end of the summer 2003 they participate in recording of the soundtrack for the movie ″Život je Čudo″, directed by Emir Kusturica. Since 2006 they are members of a team of Kusturica's punk opera ″Time of the Gypsies″.

They won the second place in the competition "Next Big Thing 2007" organized by BBC searching for the talents from around the world.

They are working on their first album.
