"Atomsko sklonište" is the most significant hard rock band of ex-Yugoslavia, leaded by bassist Bruno Langer.
The band got its name by the play directed by poet Boško Obradović, the official songwriter of the band for a long time.
Ever since it was formed in 1977, the band was something completely new and progressive at the local rock music scene. The new approach "Atomci" achieved by peculiar, continuously pessimistic lyrics, and the total visual promotion, as well as the hard rock style.
They offered heaps of protest and cataclysm oriented lyrics. The song "Ne cvikaj generacijo", with the children choir, has become the unofficial hymn of the band.
They played with Motorhead, Whitesnake, Status Quo and Uriah Heep.
